“An exceptional queer Canadian”
—CBC Arts
Hi! I’m an audio journalist, story editor, and author based in Toronto. For more than a decade, I was a staff producer at CBC Radio, where I worked on the arts & culture program Q, as well as Spark and The Sunday Edition. I’ve since made podcasts for Pineapple Street Studios (Undistracted with Brittany Packnett Cunningham), Feist (Pleasure Studies), and Xtra Magazine (Off The Chart). My audio piece "Dead Mom Talking" won a 2016 Third Coast award (“the Oscars of radio”) and my best-selling book, Dead Mom Walking: A Memoir of Miracle Cures and Other Disasters, was shortlisted for the 2021 Kobo Emerging Writer Prize, Vine Award in Non-Fiction, and Edna Staebler Award for Creative Non-Fiction. If you’re interested in working together, please get in touch!
